IT Marketing: Measuring the Response

A really important part of the whole IT marketing effort is tracking and measuring. In this article, you’ll learn how it’s really important to track what the response is and ultimately you want to track how many of the responses converted into sales.

At the absolute minimum, you want to see what kind of inquiries come in from the different marketing vehicles. For example, if you have a seminar, how many registrants were from a chamber flyer? How many were from a small newspaper ad? How many were from doing some outbound telemarketing yourself?

Measuring Response is very important. Here are some ways to do it:
1. Drive them to a specific URL so that you know how many people went to the website.
2. Ask them when you talk to them on the phone where they heard of you.
3. Have them call a specific phone number with a request.
4. Use different response vehicles with different marketing vehicles. For example, the postcards offer a reduced price IT audit and the newspaper ad offers a free seminar.

IT Marketing: Some Real Numbers

So let’s say for argument’s sake we’re mailing 1,000 postcards to 1,000 law offices in the area with some kind of offer like attending a seminar, getting a free report, getting a free needs analysis. I want to know out of those 1,000 postcards how many resulted in an inquiry.

Let’s say for argument’s sake we got almost a two percent response on inquiry, which would be fantastic. We had a 1.7 percent response rate on inquiries, and out of those 17 inquiries, one materialized into a nice-size account and one materialized into a one-shot deal. So, for 1,000 postcards mailed to attorneys in this area, we got 17 inquiries and we got two business opportunities that equated to $19,500 in the first year.

That’s a fantastic return even with list rental, even with printing, even with having it professionally graphic designed, professionally copy written, postage, and everything else that went along with that. For that $500 to $700 investment, you were able to identify a one-shot deal that probably almost covered the cost of your mailing and you found one huge account that paid for the mailing many times over.

The Bottom Line on IT Marketing

Measuring the response rate of your IT marketing is very important. You need to track where and how you spent your IT marketing money and how your ROI was.

When You Need More Than Magic To Keep Your Marketing Going

It is easy to focus on what remains outstanding and not see
what you have accomplished or how you have grown over the
past year. Even marketing experts have difficulty nailing
down time to market. I too fritter away time at trivial
tasks like organizing paper clips, shuffling paper from one
stack to another, updating my computer and watering plants.
On worse days, I prefer doing laundry and making my kitchen
even cleaner.

Is that you? Procrastination does directly affect how much
revenue you make and the bank account doesn’t lie.
Throughout the years, I’ve found ways to kindle excitement
for tackling my marketing and funneling the procrastination
bug. Let me share seven steps to help kick start your
marketing for the new year.

1. Acknowledge with Truth

You can’t change what you don’t acknowledge and you can’t
acknowledge what isn’t the truth. Find the truth by
determining whether you’re dragging your feet or simply need
an incubating period. As an avid writer and marketing
consultant, I receive many ideas. At first, I lied to
myself thinking I will remember them. For years, I recorded
them in idea journals. Attached to that, I always felt
guilty because I didn’t do much after documenting them.
Later, I began allowing myself free write whatever thoughts
were connected to those ideas as well. The guilt still
came. When I gave myself permission to allow myself to fail
all heck broke loose and I allowed myself to go in any
direction it took me. Sometimes I began in the East and
finished in the West. I gave myself permission to not have
all the answers.

Unexpectedly, I started to create 101 and top 10 lists on
various ideas. Sometimes, the idea emerged and I only got
to five, sometimes 30. When the flow slowed, I taped the
list to the wall. Every morning I reviewed the wall and
added more. Throughout the day, answers came from tons of
different sources and the lists kept building.

The lists circulated. The guilt for not following through
disappeared, the process became easier, creativity and
productivity skyrocketed.

Do you need all the answers before you start? Do you need
an incubation period or wall system? Try new things and
explore your way to success.

2. Identify What You Loathe

What do you hate to do in the marketing process? Make cold
calls? Follow up? Write web site content? Create flyers?
I didn’t like cold calling and editing. And creating new
web content and planning ranked very low on my list.
Identify what you procrastinate. Pinpoint the why. I put
off cold calling because I felt I lacked the “right”
language. When I asked myself “why,” I remembered a
marketing seminar and how I bought into presenter’s beliefs
about cold calling.

My fear seemed powerful. To dance around it, I began
writing mini-parts of a phone script, created a list of
questions I wanted to know about them, and then a list of
points I wanted to leave them with about me. I made a list
of possible call to actions — what action I wanted from the
call. One action was to get them to my web site and
subscribe to an ecourse or ebook. When I finished, I had a
strategy that made sense. It was easy to initiate the calls
afterwards. If they weren’t interested, they didn’t visit
my web site and I didn’t feel rejected. I refined the
script and calls after the first ten calls to reflect my
natural language.

What whys do you have for each reason on your list? What
solution possibilities are there? Ask others to brainstorm
with you if you are stuck. Are there some solutions that
are only a one-time action? If yes, consider outsourcing.
Find one “mini” step to start and leave the next step
unknown until you are ready. Keep mini-stepping until you
are dancing.

3. Find Something Good

Maybe your incubation period deepened your knowledge or
passion on the subject. Look for the good in the why. It
could be that while you procrastinated your vision became
clearer. Be honest with yourself otherwise you aren’t
acknowledging it (#1).

I found my marketing planning similar to my disability to
sort clean socks — no patience. Then I looked for planning
methods that don’t require much patience — I began Mind
Mapping. I fell in love with the topic and later became a
certified trainer.

As I traveled through all this, I learned to let go of any
feelings of “not knowing it all before I started”. It was a
fantastic freeing experience. I no longer felt I needed to
follow through on every idea and just the ones that “had
more” to them. Then I saw that they all meshed eventually
and my trust in the universe and me seemed to flow. I
meshed my gift for ideas with my writing and marketing
consulting and I had a winning strategy that continues to
pay off.

Just like in construction, first need to “de”struction
before you can “con”struction. Creativity is messy. Roll
up your sleeves and laugh along the way.

Give yourself credit for your gifts, ask the why for the all
the others, take one mini-step and watch a new self-
confidence emerge.

4. Visualize Your Successful Self

Envision your marketing project or goal done. Really see
it, feel it, and connect to the emotions. Don’t look for
the dots to connect. They will come. Trust the universe
and in yourself. Pull from a personal experience where it
did work that way. Give it the visionary power it needs to
promulgate. Start small or start big, just start. If it’s
cleaning off your desk, see it clear, feel it clear, feel
the emotion of working on it cleared.

If it’s writing, see the acceptance notices. If it’s
marketing, envision the “we want to hire you” responses. In
fact, write script them out and create a stronger pull with
the Universe.

5. Determine What You Need to Move Forward

Who wouldn’t stall, needing the tools, how tos, strategy,
system or different approach?

With marketing, I felt overwhelmed easily. I created a list
of things I could do when I felt it coming on. Now when I
feel panicky “my overwhelm signal” I reach for my list.
Deep breathing is the one I practice until I find my list.

6. Make the Dreaded Task Fun, Easy and Simple

Are you a people person? Perhaps you’d benefit from a
social approach to procrastination. Find people or a
support group that listens well, allows you to BMW (bitch,
moan and wine) and doesn’t allow you to get away without
meeting the BMW rule. RULE: You have permission to BMW for
three minutes if, and only if, you provide a solution/action
step to move past it at the end.

Are you an alone person? Schedule more alone time to help
you process your thoughts. Arrive at work early, sit in the
car or somewhere quiet (not your office chair) and close
your eyes. Arrive at the restaurant early, sit and write
through your thoughts. Alternatively, you can stay
afterwards and write over a long cup of coffee or dessert.

7. Stop Stalling and Get Going

Create a check-in trigger that reminds you to take a review.
You can use anything that chimes or rings and set it up to
create noise on the hour. Keep trying different things
until you find something that works for you. If it stops
working, find something new. It took me five tries before I
found a clock that chimes every hour to work. When I began
anchoring the clock to an automatic check-in, I made a list
of questions to ask myself. Am I on target? What is my
attraction/energy level? Can I do any of this faster or
easier? If so, how?

When I’m out of the office, I use an old beeper (no service
needed) to vibrate on the hour. Works well in the library.
Go ahead take your ideas as far as you can, let it germinate
and watch it create a new growth, success, and self-
confidence. It’s fun to experience. Moreover, since it
always works, you will keep doing it and doing it until it
becomes a new habit. The rest is history.

A Mini-Guide to Testosterone Cypionate and Testosterone Enanthate

Testosterone Cypionate…

As men age, the levels of testosterone in their body gradually decline, leading to feelings of depression, a lessening of sexual desire, an inability to maintain or build muscle mass, and other signs.

Together, these symptoms can be a sign of andropause, the male equivalent of menopause.

One of the treatments that can help to boost testosterone levels in men is the use of testosterone cypionate. Unfortunately, testosterone cypionate has been very badly abused in the past and can now be difficult to find in the United States.

Testosterone cypionate was one of the most common hormones used by athletes and by bodybuilders to increase their muscle mass and boost their performance. It was very common among Olympic weightlifters and other body builders. Testosterone is considered to be much stronger and more effective than testosterone enanthate.

Testosterone cypionate has been outlawed in most cases in the United States, but it is still available in most European countries, Mexico, and is also available on the black market.

Testosterone cypionate is a very expensive testosterone booster, and buyers need to beware that there are several counterfeit version on the black market and in other countries that can have serious side effect when taken. Part of the reason why the counterfeits can be so harmful is that testosterone cypionate is usually taken in very large quantities, and the counterfeit materials are not.

Testsoterone Enanthate

Like testosterone cypionate, testsoterone enanthate is an injectable ester of the hormone testosterone that is used to boost levels of the hormone in the body. Testosterone enanthate has also been used by athletes such as bodybuilders to boost their mass and give them maximum performance potential.

Testosterone enanthate injection is known as a depot injection. It is injected into a muscle, where it forms a reservoir of medicine that is gradually converted into testosterone over time.

For low testosterone levels the injection is initially given once every two to three weeks, and then every three to six weeks for maintenance treatment. The exact frequency will depend on your individual testosterone level. Testosterone enanthate is also very hard to come by in the United States as it is a highly regulated substance, although doctors in other countries will prescribe it. Testosterone enathate is also used in the treatment of breast cancer in women.

Because testosterone levels are boosted so greatly by both testosterone cypionate and testosterone enanthate, it is very important to know the side effects of these injections.

Androgenic side effects can include hair loss, deepening of the voice, and prostate hypertrophy. Severe BPH (enlarge prostate gland) can cause serious problems over time.

Urine retention and strain on the bladder can lead to urinary tract infections, bladder or kidney damage, bladder stones, and incontinence. If the bladder is permanently damaged, treatment for BPH may be ineffective. When BPH is found in its earlier stages, there is a lower risk of developing such complications.

Using testosterone cypionate and testosterone enanthate results in a very concentrated and high boost in testosterone production, and potential users need to be wary of the side effects.

Crate Training for Your Puppy

When most people see a puppy, their heart melts and they start yearning to get one. They see how cute the puppy is, how playful and how affectionate it is but what about the basic dog training that it requires?

What am I talking about? Well, for starters, your new puppy will need to learn a few things such as: becoming potty trained, to walk on a leash, to go to sleep at night without howling and certainly not to chew everything in site, including you.

Like a baby, a puppy has a lot to learn and limits are one these things. First of all, your puppy has no intention to displease you so when you see it has an accident on your carpet or on the floor; it is not its fault. Why? Simply because its bladder is so small and the muscles responsible for helping to control it or his bowels are not strong enough to do it yet. As it grows bigger and older, you will see the difference.

As for howling at night don’t forget that your puppy is missing the presence of its mother, it feels lonely and needs to cuddle up. As it will grow up, and that he starts feeling comfortable and at home, this behavior will come to an end.

And what about chewing? Well, he is basically teething. Also don’t forget that it is how it learned to play with its mother and siblings. Humans are more sensitive and so are their belongings so once again, basic dog training is required.

What can you do to train your dog in the best and most efficient way possible? Well, ask any veterinarian, dog breeders or experienced dog owners, using a crate is the solution.

Several people think that putting a dog in a cage is cruel and selfish but what they do not know is that later on, even the dog itself will enjoy it. It will become a safe and comfortable place where it can relax and sleep just like a doghouse.

Also, your puppy will not always be in its crate as it will be only at night and when you are gone to work or any other event where your dog will be left alone. At first your puppy may not like it, but believe me only time and patience will prove you the opposite.

Before purchasing a crate, you should consider a few things. For example, some crates are made of metal and are foldable and others are made of plastic and have a handle to carry it around if small enough.

The plastic one may be better for air travel or in some cases; car travel depending on its size but the fact that the view is limited due to the solid panels is one disadvantage as your puppy will feel lonelier. Also, if your puppy has an accident in it, the bad smells tend to seek in its surface due to a lack of aeration plus not having a removable tray, the cleaning is more difficult to do.

The metal crate tends to be bigger, especially if you have a bigger dog like a labrador retriever which makes it more difficult to find a space for it. They are solid, foldable which makes it easier when traveling and your puppy has a great view which helps against loneliness.

Also, a metal crate has a removable tray which makes cleaning a lot easier. Since it has great air circulation, the bad smells only follow the dirty newspapers in the garbage.

Another thing that you should not about crate training is that it helps the dog training of your puppy in several areas. For example, at night, it solves the problem of finding little accidents on your floor by stepping in them. Also since a dog does not want to sleep where he relieves itself, your puppy will try its best to control its bladder and bowel movements which will help to develop these muscles as well.

Don’t buy a crate too large for your puppy but make it large enough to accommodate your puppy when it will be fully grown.

When you are preparing the crate, make it inviting and as comfortable as possible for your puppy. Cover the bottom with newspapers if desired, put a blanket or basket in the opposite end and your new puppy’s home is ready.

To help you with the howling, as more than likely it will happen for a while, you can also take a clock that ticks loudly to remind him of its mother’s heartbeat and a hot water bag filled with hot water to allow him to cuddle against something that reminds it of the softness and warmth of its mother.

Another thing to do to help it feel less lonely, is to put either a radio, some music or the television set on so it can hear noise and voices in the background. Another thing that can help to prevent it from peeing in his crate is to control his water intake by removing its bowl at 8 p.m. or approximately 2 hours prior to your time going to bed. This advice was given to me by my dog’s veterinarian.

And last but not least, chewing will be controlled by keeping your puppy out of trouble. This way you will prevent him from being harmed by chewing electrical wires or simply from your frustration of having to replace damaged goods.

My name is Sylvie Leochko. If you wish to learn more about dog training or labrador retrievers as they are great service pets as well as wonderful with children, I invite you to visit the following sites: http://dogtraining.findoutnow.org and http://labrador-retrievers.findoutnow.org

Home Based Medical Billing: How To Avoid the Scams Within The Industry

In 1999-2000 several entrepreneurial and financial magazines stated that medical billing was one of the top ten home based businesses for the new millennium. While the reports were correct it took almost 3 years before the information sunk into the heads of those that were desperately looking for ways to leave the nine-to-five rat race and work from home.

What the masses didn’t know was that during those two years several so called home based medical billing support companies were in full swing selling their wares and services to the undereducated looking to get into this lucrative field. The majority of the companies were well thought out scams and because most people had no idea of what was needed to successfully run and operate a business in this industry the companies quickly became rich while giving nothing to the clients in return (except for empty wallets, dashed dreams and a lot of headaches).

Today, while the industry is still a growing field there are several companies (usually the same ones from 2000 on but with the same product and different names), that spend a lot of money advertising in different venues to take further advantage of the unsuspecting public. These companies know that the majority of folks will not do any research before getting involved, they make it easy for you to contact them, they have very convincing sales reps waiting to con you out of your money and for a mere $400 they tell you that they will supply you with everything you’ll need to make $40-$60K per year from the comfort of your home.

Friends, let me tell you right now that there are no companies out there that can afford to supply all of that for $400 and stay in business! Common sense would alert most people that this is a scam, but because most people are so blinded by the money making potential they don’t listen to that little person inside that usually yells “It’s Too Good To Be True”.

How Do You Go About Avoiding The Scamsters?

1. Don’t answer those ads that you see in your favorite local shopper magazines (Globe, Sun, Examiner, Thrifty Nickel, PennySavers, etc.) or in some of the major daily newspapers. They usually go something like this:

“You Can Earn $50,000+ Processing Medical Claims From Home. No experience necessary! Call 1-800-***-**** for information.”

2. This one is usually seen on the Internet but lately it can be found in any number of widely sold financial/entrepreneurial magazines. These ads are placed by medical billing opportunity vendors that want you to purchase training, software, marketing materials, and lists of doctors as a package deal for $4000-$9000. Now there are a handful of well known medical billing opportunity vendors in the nation, but if you aren’t sure who they are you must research the company in depth before you contact them, but they do exist.

3. Watch out for what is called medical billing resellers of well known/branded medical billing software programs that are the most basic in design and won’t be able to support your business for years to come. So you in turn will need to call them back and spend more money with them to upgrade the software (so you get taken twice). You can find these cheap pieces of software all over the net, on Ebay and from people’s personal websites (most of whom don’t know anything about doing medical billing as a business).

4. Look out for software companies that also claim to be their own clearinghouse companies. They will claim to give you discounted clearinghouse services because you initially bought software from them, but you will have to agree to submit your claims exclusively through them. Again you are paying twice, except this kind of service is an extended and drawn out milking of your wallet and the biggest problem is what happens if the company goes out of business? That’s right you’re stuck big-time and you’ll have to spend a lot of money to get things back on the right track. This is the same as putting all of your eggs in the same basket that we’ve been hearing about since we were young.

5. You should always research a company before you do business with them unless you are getting a referral from a very trusted friend. The best way to start your research is by going to the BBB and doing a search for the company you are looking to do business with. You can learn a lot about the company including if the company has any open complaints against them from their customers. You will also see if they have a favorable rating, which goes toward their credibility.

6. The next thing that you should do is visit and partake in the discussions at any one of the several medical billing forums. These forums will become the basis of your support network and will give you the opportunity to ask questions of established home-based medical billing business owners. The other benefit is that you will also meet other new medical billers that are on the same level of getting their business started as you are, so you know that you’re not the only one who has fears about getting started. Once you dispel the fears then you can focus on the topic at hand and proceed with full confidence in your decisions.

Many people that try and start their own medical billing business usually fail to do so because they have skipped one or all of the aforementioned. The sad part is that they cry foul and say that the home based medical billing industry is a scam instead of owning up to their own faults.

The home-based medical billing industry is a great business to start but it’s not for everybody so before you decided to get involved I suggest that you research the industry in full and read all the books on the topic that you can. There are several books on the market but the majority of them are rather outdated so they aren’t going to do much for you since the industry tends to change quickly.

Good luck to you in all of your endeavors.

If you are entertaining the thought or you’re just curious about the home based medical billing field then do yourself a favor before you do anything else and read the ebook entitled “Medical Billing Book For Home Based Beginners” by Paul G. Discover a Large Dildo for an Exciting Orgasm with your Lady

Some men have a perplexing time keeping a hard pecker and some women have particularly long sex drives, meaning it will take the girl a remarkably long time to come. Because of this difference in sex drives, love making will often become a boring and unsatisfying experience. That’s why thin dildos will often be helpful. If the male ejaculates early in the game, or even if the lady just takes longer than her man, he can continue to penetrate the lady with the stubby dildo. That way all sexual mischief does not stop. It gives him plenty of time to recharge his batteries and keeps the chick horned up. Thus when the male is prepared to come back into the game, the gal will still be aroused enough to accept him. Feels like the real thing but better - Adult and Sex Toys.

Your most sensual field is your brain. And as far as various feminists won’t admit this, the penis is a traditional symbol of fertility, no matter how big or small, it is still associated with power. Penetrating your lady with a slim dildo will make a fantasy of power fun reality.

Some girls savour the sensation of feeling full in their vagina or back passage. Whenever a marital toy such as a big dildo, penetrates the vagina or anus, the muscles contract around it. Many women find the tightening of the aforementioned muscles to be deeply enjoyable.

Steps You Can Take To Protect Your Financial Information and Personal Identity From Fraud

Financial fraud and identity fraud are one of the fasted growing forms of fraud. The first line of defense to protecting yourself begins with you. Here are some steps you can take to help you protect and fight against financial and identity fraud.

1. Review and Protect Your Information - The first line of defense in financial fraud is to periodically check your credit report to ensure all your information is accurate. Remember there are three credit agencies (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian) which all operate independently. Make sure you check your credit report from all three because they may each have different information.

2. Destroy Credit Card Mail Offers and Old Financial Documents - If you receive direct or pre-approved solicitations in the mail for new credit cards and do not use them make sure you shred or tear them up before throwing them away. In addition, shred all financial papers including cancelled checks, old bank account statements, or any document with your identity.

3. Watch Out For E-mail or Telephone Fraudsters - Never give your personal or financial information out on the internet or phone unless you initiated the contact. This is especially true with giving out your social security or credit card number. Watch out for e-mails from fraudsters that state they need your account information or credit card number to update your account with your bank or an online company like e-bay. Never give out personal information over e-mail! Many times these e-mails will have links for you to click on that take you to a website that looks authentic. However more times than not, it is a scam to get your personal and financial information.

4. Social Security Number - Keep your social security number in a safe place with other financial documents. DO NOT carry your social security card in your wallet and remember to shred your old social security statements. It is also recommended to not store your social security number on your computer as hackers may have access to it. Never print your social security number on your checks, credit card or drivers licenses.

5. Incoming / Outgoing Mail - Pick up incoming mail promptly and do not send outgoing mail in your residential mail box. Make every effort to keep your mail as securely as possible when it leaves your house.

6. Monthly Bills - If your monthly bills stop arriving, take action quickly. Notify the company right away. Also, review your monthly statements promptly and if you see charges or items on your bills that you do not recognize get them resolved immediately.

7. Credit Cards / ATMs - Report lost or stolen credit cards and ATM cards immediately. Be sure to carry the 1-800 numbers of your bank and credit card company in your wallet.

8. Age Matters - If you are over the age of 50 you are more likely to be targeted for financial fraud. Therefore, keep this in the back of your mind as you handle your daily tasks and personal information.

Most analysts forecast financial fraud and identity thief to cause financial loss to hundreds of thousands people in the next five years and beyond. While fraudsters are very slick and you can never be 100% safe the steps above can assist in you significantly deterring yourself and family from being a victim.
