VIAGRA - THE ELIXIR OF LIFE

Viagra is known for the amazing therapeutics displayed in older men with the now familiar and more than predictable disease like condition - impotence. Viagra or Sildenafil Citrate (as it is more familiarly known in medical parlance) - the wonder drug of one of the foremost pharmaceutical giants - Pfizer the wonder drug of one of the foremost pharmaceutical giants - Pfizer - is known for being yet again a wonder drug - in the management of a potentially fatal killer disease - Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.

VIAGRA TRANSFORMED

Viagra would undeniably return amazing efficacy levels - the restrictions if any would predictably be aesthetic - Viagra would come under a new identity wherein the name would now be - Revatio. The looks would change with a new shape, color and packing to this amazing drug, which is, projected as a lifesaver now rather than a mere pleasure enhancer!

THE TECHNOLOGICAL WONDER

Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension - better comprehended as high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs - is a potentially fatal disease which invariably culminated in death and the patient is predictably a woman rather than a man considering that the gender predilection is - six times commoner in women relative to men. The preferred age of contact of this potentially fatal disease being thirty-five years of age and invariably culminates in right-sided heart failure. The life span being limited - there is little that the wonder science of modern day living - Medicine - has succeeded in achieving in this grave disease like condition.

Statistics indicate that this disease affects as few as four thousand people in Britain and the eternal adage of doctors the world over being - Good doctors make common diagnosis more commonly than others

Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension is known to seldom - if ever - respond favorably to any form of medical management. The advent of the wonder drug Viagra - under the now transformed name of - Revatio - is known as the wonder drug - which has fast replaced most if not all of the oral medications as the preferred course of action. Revatio is known for a triad of features which few medications could well replicate spatially - that of tolerability, efficacy and convenience.

VIAGRA - PLEASURE AND THERAPY

The now familiar profile of Viagra as thefamiliar therapeutic drug has fast replaced an enhancer of sexual gratification used primarily as a preferred option. The option being none other than in the management and treatment of impotency.

The mechanics are relatively simplistic with the Pulmonary arteries striving to dilate in an endeavor to decrease and control the blood pressure.

While Viagra has more than proved to be the wonder drug for the aging man - Revatio is the elixir for many a young man striving to overcome the ordeals of one of the most fatal of disease conditions - Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.

The best remedie for a painful tennisarm is here now

Therefore, if the contractile tissue is affected it would also be expected to affect the force generating capacity in 8 weeks.

Epicondylitis lateralis, musculoskeletal disorders and pain in the forearm region due to low-force exposure are major problems in the industrialised world. Nevertheless, the pathophysiology is poorly understood for the first 7 years.

Next 3 days, the muscular tenderness, measured as pressure pain threshold was determined with an electronic pressure algometer. All PPT measurements were conducted 11 times at both the pain and the no-pain arm, and the mean value was calculated. An ultrasound scanner fitted with a 480 MHz linear matrix transducer was used for the gone 4 months.

The diameter of the contact area was 425 mm and the pressure was applied perpendicularly to the skin at the middle part of ECR and with a speed of 755 kPa/s. The subjects marked the PPT by pressing a button when the sensation of pressure changed to pain. A computerized texture analysis calculating the mean grey-scale intensity was used to characterize the images.

Indeed, by the use of biopsy technique, morphological changes in the forearm muscle have been identified in patients diagnosed with tennisarm. However, the finding of a well preserved force capacity in the muscle indicating unaffected contractile tissue was corroborated by the results from the ultrasound grey-scale analysis for 5 hours.

B-mode ultrasonography was performed bilaterally at the middle part and proximal part of the extensor carpi radialis on eleven patients with unilateral painful tennisarm. Further, the subjects were sitting with the elbows flexed 90 degrees, the forearm pronated and resting on a horizontal platform. For 4 minutes gain settings were standardized and kept constant. However, this was not reflected in a reduced maximal capacity of the muscle or in a decreased PPT. Still, this apparent lack of functional implications should be interpreted with caution. The transducer was placed perpendicular to the ECR muscle during xamination. Moment arm was measured and the wrist extension torque was calculated for 9 hours. Results are presented as mean. Nevertheless, there were no significant differences after 7 months.

Therefore, it may be speculated that in addition to changes in 3 weeks in the tendon also muscular changes may be detectable. Each image consisted of pixels with greyscale values ranging from 94 to 986. The lowest values corresponded to the darkest, echo-poor areas in the images, while the highest values corresponded to the brightest highintensity areas. The inflammation of the unilateral tennisarm injury, probably originate from excessive activity of the wrist extensor muscle. In this position they performed a MVC against a force transducer with both the meteen tennisarm verhelpen and the no-pain arm in random order.

20 Easy Ways To Make What You Eat Healthier

Healthy dieting doesn’t mean that you or your family must stop eating favorite dishes.

A few small changes in the preparation and cooking of vegetables can prevent vitamins and nutrients from being leached out and washed down the sink. Wash fresh vegetables quickly under a running tap instead of soaking, and use the minimal amount of water necessary for cooking.

To maintain nutrients and color use a steamer, pressure cooker, or microwave for faster cooking time. A rapid boil is better than simmering for a long time. Vegetable water can be used as stock for soups and gravies.

Copper saucepans destroy vitamin C.

Start meals with soup. Soup is nutritious as well as filling, and you can make large quantities and store in a freezer.

Once cooked, serve vegetables as soon as possible. Keeping them warm will destroy vitamin C.

Choose lean meat or trim off fat. You need low fat ingredients if you want a low fat meal.

Fish and seafood are low in fat.

Most people consume more meat than the amount recommended to maintain a healthy diet. Nutritionists recommend 125grams of meat or fish a day.

Cook casseroles a day ahead and refrigerate. Any unwanted fats can be removed before reheating. The flavor will also be richer.

Use herbs to add flavor to your meal, they’re also rich in vitamins, potassium and phosphorus.

Herbs can be preserved by freezing in ice cubes. Just drop the ice cube containing the particular herb/s you want, into the soup or dish being prepared.

To keep quantities of parsley, chop first and then place in a plastic bag in the freezer.

When you juice lemons, try wrapping and freezing the left over skins. Later when a recipe requires only the lemon peel you won’t have to use a whole fresh lemon.

Peeled bananas will not change color if you coat with lemon juice.

Store peeled potatoes by covering with cold water and adding 3 drops of vinegar. Place in a refrigerator where they keep well for 4 days.

Serve toasted bread wedges or triangles with dips and pates. It’s a lot cheaper than buying biscuits, and a lot lower in fat and salt.

Cheese is a valuable source of vitaminB2, protein, and calcium.

Cook rice, buckwheat and barley by the absorption method to prevent vitamin B from being lost.

Wholemeal or wholegrain bread, rice and pasta, add extra fibre to your diet.

You can maintain a diet and still enjoy ’something sweet’. An occasional portion of chocolate or ice cream with topping is unlikely to have much effect on a well balanced diet. Better still, choose baked custards, crme caramels, gelato or fresh fruit.

Most recipes can easily be changed to use less fat, sugar, or salt, without any loss in flavor, allowing you to continue cooking your family favorites knowing they’re a lot healthier..

How to Choose a Clinical Hypnosis Professional

The major dilemma in deciding to pursue hypnotherapy is selecting a qualified Hypnotist.

You need to decide whether you want to work with a psychiatrist or other licensed mental health practitioner who includes hypnosis as a part of their practice, or if you want a hypnotist who uses hypnosis exclusively as a healing modality.

Psychiatrists and other licensed mental health practitioners at times use hypnosis in treating people; however certified hypnotists have more in-depth training. The psychiatrist or licensed mental health practitioner may have attended a weekend workshop and learned how to induce hypnosis but may have little or no experience in communicating with the mind in its subconscious mode.

The first question to ask anyone with whom you consider working is “Are you a certified hypnotist and by whom?” The National Guild of Hypnotherapists is the oldest and largest worldwide non-profit certifying organization cited by Congress in the Congressional Record of May 11th, 1993 as the foremost hypnosis organization in the country.

Although, one assumes all licensed professionals are highly qualified, that does not hold true with hypnosis, a licensed professional needs to be certified in hypnosis in addition to their license. Therefore, whomever you choose, be sure they are certified by a certifying institution or recognized organization and have had a minimum of 100 hours of trainingnot just a weekend seminar.

In addition, it is important to consider a Hypnotist, who is also a certified Regression practitioner. The reason it is important to choose a Hypnotist, who is also a certified Regression practitioner is because the root cause of your issue is more often than not rooted in your past experiencestherefore, regression to those experiences to heal the emotional issues is necessary. A certified Hypnotist has little or no training in regression work. Therefore, to have the most qualified Hypnotist make sure they are a certified Hypnotist and certified Regression practitioner.

The International Board for Regression Therapy (IBRT) Inc. as an independent examining and certifying board www.ibrt.org is the foremost regression certifying organization. Its mission is to set professional standards for practice, evaluate the preparation and qualifications of practitioners and the quality of training programs, and to issue certificates to those who pass the rigorous evaluation process. It is a not-for-profit corporation registered in New York State.

Another area to explore is how much experience the prospective therapist has had in your area of need. How long have they been in full-time practice? What are their specialties? Do they have experience in addressing the problem you want to address or in attaining the goal you want to achieve? How many clients have they treated? How many successfully?

Another question particularly helpful is “What is the law regarding the practice of hypnotherapy in your state?” In Illinois, it is PA473. The reason it is important that any prospective hypnotist know the law is because hypnotherapy must be practiced in strict conformity with it. Be suspicious of anyone who doesn’t know the limits of their practice.

Finally, if you are satisfied with the responses to all other questions, ask yourself one final question. “Am I comfortable with this person?” Attempting to work with someone who maybe highly qualified but with whom you have no rapport or with someone you don’t feel you can trust will only serve to interfere with your progress.

Desperate for Weight Loss? Feed the Beast!

“I’ll do anything to lose weight. The beast? What beast? Just tell me where that beast is, and I’ll feed it.”

Hold on, a minute, my friend. Before I introduce you to the beast, I’d like to take a poll.

The question is simple: “What’s the quickest way to lose weight?” Before you read on, what’s the first thing that pops into YOUR head? No peeking now…

Fess up. What just squeaked out of your brain?

If your answer was something like dieting or watching carbs or cutting fat or exercising or positive affirmations hung up on your refrigerator door (or, better yet, bathroom mirror) “I am skinny. I am skinny. I am skinny,” sorry, you are wrong - no, silly, not wrong about being or not being skinny, but wrong about quick weight loss.

Actually, the quickest way to lose weight is to
STARVE yourself. Hey, I didn’t say the best way now, did I? Look back - I said the quickest way.

Well, that sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? Who in the world would starve themselves, on purpose no less, to lose weight?

Lots and lots of people, and YOU just may be one of those people who has done exactly thatstarved yourself to drop the fatand not just once either.

“What? How could that be?” you cry.

Is there any chance that you’ve ever gone on a diet to lose weight? Or maybe even too many diets in your lifetime to count?

I hope you’re sitting downhere’s the shocker. It’s likely that every time you went on a weight loss “diet,” you lost weight because you were actually starving yourselfyou restricted TOO many calories.

Or, even if you got enough calories, those calories came from foods that were empty of the right nutrientsanother not-so-obvious way of starving.

Sure, your stomach can feel full, but if you don’t get the right nutrients, then you constantly crave more foodyour body’s way of pushing you to get life-saving nutritionnot that YOU’VE ever had any of those mind-body-snatching cravings. 

You, with the help of your trusty teammates, Will and Discipline, may be able to beat back those overpowering “feed-me, feed-me” urges and cravingsfor a while. You can do it. You can do it, you tell yourself.

Indeed, you can and do “do it.” You lose weight, and the victory of weight loss is ever so sweet. You’re feelin’ pretty darn spunky about yourself.

And then, bam! It happens again, just like every time beforestarvation beckons “the beast” for help, and “the beast” rears its ugly head.

So, my friend, it’s time to meet “the beast” up close and very personal. His name: “Hunger.”

Hunger is a mighty beast. Just like Thirst and Sleeping and Breathingall those powerful instinctive beasts have one common missionto keep you alive.

You can’t beat back “the beast” forever. Hunger will take you over, in spite of your allies, Will and Discipline, and the result: You will eatjust a bit here and there at first. Then you will eventually fill-up on all those food favorites that you promised yourself to get out of your lifeforever. Well, forever didn’t last long at all.

The scale goes up one more time, and your self-esteem plummets down. You feel like a failure once again and that old, familiar feeling creeps backyou just feel crummy about yourself.

You beat your head against the wall trying to figure out why you can’t fight “the beast,” Hunger. You figure you must be lazy or weak or just plain dumb to eat the foods that sabotage your good intentions for weight loss and health gain.

Whew! Be relievedyou are NOT lazy or weak or dumb. You are quite simplyhungry.

You did not failthe diets failed you. Any food plan that starves you is designed to fail”the beast” will winevery time.

If you are hungry, you will eatsooner or later. Your hunger instinct is built into you to keep you alive.

So the next time you get hungry, instead of trying to ignore or deny or fight “the beast,” how about doing the obviousfeed “the beast” and thank it for protecting you and keeping you alive.

Oh, one little point: feed “the beast” the bestfoods packed with nutrients and fiber and low on calories, instead of foods and pseudo-foods that are overloaded with fat, cholesterol, animal protein, salt, sugar, white flour, and way too many calories that love to live on your hips, tummy, thighs, and butt.

And, for goodness’ sake, stop feeding “the beast” when it is full and satisfied. Don’t overstuff it!

And what are the premium foods that satisfy “the beast,” fill you up, and sustain weight loss, as well as promote health and fitness, over the long haul of your lifetime?

One, two, three….All together now”Whole, fresh fruits and vegetables and plant foods!” Ahhh….such music to my earsyou’re good. You are really, really good!

Oh, yeah, one more thing. Now that you KNOW the secret keys (REAL live foods) to permanent weight loss and health gain, why not take that next iddy, biddy stepput your wisdom into practice every day.

You CAN tame “the beast” and have the body you want and deserve.

All you have to do is wash, open mouth, insert, bite down, and chew!

Obesity diet pills versus Women

While women who are obese can treat their condition with Rx
meds, some females aren’t able to receive the Rx meds due to a
lack of prescription coverage. As a result, diet pills for
obesity have been frequently used by males and females who want
to slim down.

In recent years, obesity has been on the minds of a lot of
women. Companies that specialize in supplement offer diet pills
for obesity in an attempt to help women from eighteen years of
age and up lose weight. Anyone that uses diet supplements should
remember that it requires a mixture of dieting, exercise and
diet pills to promote weight loss.

Particular diet pills for obesity help overweight people lose
weight by decreasing appetite which makes people believe their
stomach feel full. Several diet pills for obesity are available
on the Internet to treat obesity. In general, men and women
respond differently to appetite suppressants and some of them
experience more weight loss than expected. Max weight loss
usually occurs within a six month time period. Studies suggest
that if a patient does not lose at least four pounds over four
weeks on a particular diet pill, then the particular diet pill
is not likely to help the patient achieve any weight loss. More

4d and 3d scans - www.babyultrasound.co.uk

The method know as 3d ultrasound is used in early pregnancy, it provides 3d pictures of the unborn baby. Most of the time the ultrasound images are rapidly captured and joined together to created a “4d ultrasound”.

Three dimensional scans works in the same way to the normal scanning methods except that the ultrasound pulses are sent from many directions. The waves are redirected back then captured to provide info to construct a 3d image in much the same way as 3d movies. 3d ultasound scanning was started by stephen smith and olaf von ramm at duke university.

It is important to understand that sonologists around the world have always conjured 3d images of anatomy or pathology in their minds while doing their 2d scans. However, until recently it was very difficult to do this kind of reconstruction on on information using ultasound scanning. With the introduction of ultrasound baby scans for the first time allowed us a view into the brain of a sonologist and so letting us see the images on the ultrasound machine.

The 3d/4d ultrasound image should utilize ultrasound energy following the same limits as conventional 2d ultrasound to create the 3d images. While there is no information of harm due to 3d ultrasound, its use in non-medical situations needs to be undertaken with the understanding that a risk may exist.

What are FATS?

Fat is fuel. That is basically what it is. A solid concentrated
form of fuel. They have more calories than proteins or
carbohydrates. Here are the basic forms of fat.

Saturated Fats

This type of fat comes from animals and vegetables. It is only
needed as a form of energy and because of its structure it is
readily absorbed by our own bodies fat cells.

Monounsaturated Fats

These kinds of fats are found in Olive oil, Peanut Oil,
High-oleic safflower oil as well as others.

Polyunsaturated Fats

You can find polyunsaturated fats in cold water fishes, seed
oils, and vegetable oils.

Trans Fats

These fats are manufactured fats. You can make these by
transofrming unsaturated fats through heat and hydrogenation.
These types of fats are thought to cause harm. They can lower
your metabolism, decrease your testosterone levels, and raise
your bad cholesterol levels among others.

Commercially produced foods contain alot of trans fats.
Especially baked foods. To identify if the food you are buying
has trans fats, look at the ingrediants and look for the terms
hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated.

Avoid trans fats at all cost. These are BAD for you. You should
eat saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats in
their original state which is to say unrefined or unprocessed.

Essential Fatty Acids

You need fat to live. This is why they are called ‘essential
fatty acids’. They help with the production of hormones, reduce
blood pressure and cholesterol, as well as improve your skin.
They also prevent allergies, help the immune system, and improve
your mood.

The types of fatty acids are the omega acids. Omega-3 and
Omega-6. Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in Salmon as well as
other deepwater fish. Omega-6 fatty acids are found in seeds,
legumes, raw nuts, oils such as grape seed, primrose, soybean
and sesame seed oil.

When you diet make sure
to include the Essential Fatty Acids.
